Developed with Life Jacket Theatre Company, UNTITLED Musical Project, and Drama Club Productions.

Philip Johnson was a renowned architect who designed the Seagram Building, Lincoln Center, and is perhaps most famous for building a house entirely made of glass on his property in New Canaan, Connecticut. What many people don’t know is that he also built an opaque brick house on the same property, where he hid his secret gay partner, David Whitney. Inspired by real events and architecture, this sweeping, romantic musical depicts David and Philip’s forgotten love story, and asks the question: how can we choose to love people who are flawed?
